7 Wonders of the World - Latest 2012

7 Wonders of the World - Knowing heritage or unique places that fall into the seven wonders of the world are obliged to know every person, especially if the seven wonders of the world every year is always changing. But clearly in this latest list of wonders of the world we pride Borobudur temple is not included in this year's finalists, following the latest seven wonders of the world that ought to be known by us all:
1. Great Wall of China or the Great Wall of China, also known in China as the Wall of 10,000 Li ¹ long is the longest building ever created humans, located in the People's Republic of China. Great Wall of China is considered as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. [4] [5] In 1987, this building was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.




2. Petra is a arkeologikal sites in Jordan, located in the lowlands between the mountains form the eastern wing of the Wadi Araba, the large valley originated from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba



 3. Statue of Christ the Redeemer (Portuguese: Cristo Redentor) statue of Jesus Christ is the largest Art Deco architectural style and located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue has a height of 38 meters and is located at the top of Corcovado Mountain, 710 m high in the Tijuca Forest National Park, overlooking the city. This statue is a symbol of Christianity, and became a symbol of city pride. Hands of the statue is open seen by many as a sign of the warmth of the Brazilian population.





 4. Machu Picchu ("Old Mountain" in Quechua language; often called "the lost Inca City") is a site of pre-Columbian Inca ruins, situated in the mountainous region at an altitude of about 2350 m above sea level. Machu Picchu is located above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, about 70 km northwest of Cusco.



5. Chichen Itza is a Mayan Civilization Sites in Mexico in 800 BC century. Pyramid of Kukulcan at this historic site complex is believed to be the center of political and economic activities Mayan civilization, located in the Yucatan Peninsula (now territory of Mexico). The central point merupkan Itza complex of other buildings such as the Kukulcan Pyramid, Temple of Chac Mool, and building the Thousand Pillar.


 6. Coliseum is a historic relic of the big theaters elliptical amphitheater called by his real name or Flavian Amphitheater, which includes one of the Seven Wonders of the World Middle Ages. The site is located in the Italian capital, Rome, founded by King in the Roman Empire Vespasian and completed by his son Titus [1], and became one of the greatest works of Roman architecture ever built.
 

 
 7. Taj Mahal is a monument located in Agra, India. Built on the desire Mughal Emperor, Jahangir's son, as a mausoleum for Persian wife, Arjumand Banu Begum, also known as Mumtaz-ul-Zamani or Mumtaz Mahal. Its construction took 23 years (1630-1653) and is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture.
